Application Security Engineer

What you'll work on

• Review authentication, authorization, file uploads and private download boundaries.
• Build authorized security tests and prioritize findings by demonstrated impact.
• Improve dependency review, secrets handling and remediation guidance without disrupting unrelated applications.

What you bring

• Hands-on experience reviewing or securing web applications and APIs.
• Understanding of common injection, access-control, upload and browser-security failures.
• Ability to work within explicit testing scope and explain remediation with clear evidence.

First projects

• Review document-upload and purchase-recovery boundaries using synthetic fixtures.
• Add security regression checks for shared-hosting and private application routes.

Compensation and engagement

₹1,00,000 - ₹1,40,000 / month

Ranges are in INR per month, not annual CTC or take-home pay. For full-time employment, the range describes gross monthly base pay; for a paid contract, it describes the monthly fee for the agreed scope. Final compensation stays within the listed range, with hours, deliverables, deductions and engagement terms confirmed in writing before work begins.

Remote within India. This role is available through full-time employment or a paid contract, with the arrangement agreed before starting. Benefits, working hours, equipment and payment schedules depend on the written terms.
