Computer Vision Engineer

What you'll work on

• Evaluate preprocessing, orientation and layout strategies for varied scan quality.
• Build reproducible comparisons for extraction accuracy and supported image operations.
• Document failure cases and preserve human review for uncertain recognized values.

What you bring

• Experience with computer-vision or OCR libraries and representative evaluation datasets.
• Ability to measure error rates, resource use and robustness across layouts and languages.
• Careful handling of document permissions, image metadata and sensitive content.

First projects

• Evaluate receipt and document preprocessing with synthetic scan defects.
• Improve layout-aware extraction quality checks without promising perfect recognition.

Compensation and engagement

₹90,000 - ₹1,40,000 / month

Ranges are in INR per month, not annual CTC or take-home pay. For full-time employment, the range describes gross monthly base pay; for a paid contract, it describes the monthly fee for the agreed scope. Final compensation stays within the listed range, with hours, deliverables, deductions and engagement terms confirmed in writing before work begins.

Remote within India. This role is available through full-time employment or a paid contract, with the arrangement agreed before starting. Benefits, working hours, equipment and payment schedules depend on the written terms.
