Speech & Audio Engineer

What you'll work on

• Evaluate text normalization, pronunciation and audio quality using licensed or synthetic examples.
• Investigate clipping, silence, segmentation and long-form playback transitions.
• Collaborate with Android engineers on bounded, accessible and reliable speech workflows.

What you bring

• Experience with speech synthesis, audio processing or a closely related engineering project.
• Comfort with Python or comparable tooling and reproducible audio experiments.
• Understanding of dataset rights and consent; no voice cloning or identity imitation is assumed.

First projects

• Build multilingual pronunciation and segmentation test fixtures.
• Improve long-form listening evaluation and handoff between generated audio segments.

Compensation and engagement

₹90,000 - ₹1,40,000 / month

Ranges are in INR per month, not annual CTC or take-home pay. For full-time employment, the range describes gross monthly base pay; for a paid contract, it describes the monthly fee for the agreed scope. Final compensation stays within the listed range, with hours, deliverables, deductions and engagement terms confirmed in writing before work begins.

Remote within India. This role is available through full-time employment or a paid contract, with the arrangement agreed before starting. Benefits, working hours, equipment and payment schedules depend on the written terms.
